21st FAI World Precision Flying Championship in Bautzen, Germany: entries from 59 pilots and 16 countries so far
Preparations are in full swing and a remarkably large number of preliminary entries has already been received so far. The 21st FAI World Precision Flying Championship will take place at Bautzen Airfield in Saxony, Germany from 7th to 14th September 2013. At its meeting in Larnaca, Cyprus on 3rd November 2012, the General Aviation Commission (GAC) of the FAI had entrusted Deutscher Aero Club (DAeC - German Aero Club) with the organization of the event.
"We are delighted that we have been chosen to host the World Championship this year," says Ralf Grunwald, Navigation Flying Coordinator at Deutscher Aero Club. "Preliminary entries from 59 pilots and 16 countries have been received so far. We really appreciate the strong international interest in the event. We will make every effort to ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay here in Germany," continues Ralf Grunwald.
