IBD 2025-01 – FCEAD, 2025 Edition, Rule Change Approval

The first IBD (Interim Bureau Decision) of this year has been issued by the Bureau of the International Skydiving Commission (ISC).

During the recent ISC Plenary Meeting in Rome, Italy, the Finance Secretary of the ISC had made several proposals for amendments to the ISC rules.   Due to an oversight, these proposals were not voted upon, therefore not approved.   All but one proposal will be presented at the next Plenary Meeting, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in January, 2026.  

After discussions with the Finance Secretary and the Rules and Regulations Committee, it was agreed that one of the proposed rule changes has been deemed necessary for this year, and the ISC Bureau made the unanimous decision to approve the rule change request and issued an IBD.  (IBD 2025-01)   The amendment is to rule 2.1 of the FCEAD (First Category Event Application Document) and pertains to the invoicing and payment of the relevant application fees.
